Three years have past since I had put my last post.
Time flies fast, right? Or just my laziness?
According to my last post, I was waiting for response from city government whether I could get my job or not.
The result was ... I got my job!
So, I have worked as an assistant at elementary school for more than two years.
The first year, I helped a girl with an oxygen machine, but her heart and lung got worse
and hospitalized three months later.
She passed away just before her graduation day... So sad.
After she got hospitalized, I was put in the class which the teacher couldn't control her class.
She couldn't continue her job and quit the job...teacher. I didn't know her because she was already mentally and physically worse and got absent soon after I was sent in. We were together less than two weeks. So sad to know that she was a new teacher just graduated from university. She definitely thought she had got her dream job, a teacher, but she had to quit, gave up her would-be life time job.
Some teachers said that she had no talent to be a teacher and was lucky to know that in early stage.
IMO, even though she couldn't manage her class because of her lack of teaching experience, she was young and had passion and high motivation to do the job. With more understanding and support from fellow teachers and early intervention , I thought she could continue teaching still now.
